NAM BAN 2 HYDROPOWER PLANT PROJECT

The Nam Ban 2 hydropower project is built on the Nam Ban stream, the layout of the vertical shaft turbine turbine plant. The Nam Ban River is a class I branch to the right of the Nam Na River and a level II branch of the Da River. Nam Ban River originates from Nam Se mountain with the height of 2000m.

From the source, the Nam Ban River flows in the direction of the West and flows into the Nam Na River in Nam Ban Commune, Sin Ho District, Lai Chau Province. The Nam Ban basin has a shared distributary with the Nam Cuoi River in the southwest, with tributaries of the Nam Na River in the north and east.

The pipeline hydropower plant has an installed capacity of about 22 MW and the average annual electricity is 84.78 × 10 ^ 6 kWh.

After Nam Ban 2 has been connected to the national grid with a capacity of 22MW, it will not only increase the budget revenue for the State, but also improve infrastructure, ecological environment and improve the lives of people in the region.
