NAM HE HYDROPOWER PLANT PROJECT

Nam He Hydroelectricity Project, invested by Nam He Hydroelectricity Joint Stock Company, is built in Muong Tung commune, Muong Cha district, Dien Bien province. The factory consists of 2 units with a designed capacity of 16 MW, starting construction from April 2010. On June 18, 2014, Nam He Hydroelectricity Plant officially generated two units of air-conditioner into the national network. Nam He Hydroelectricity Plant, completed and put into operation, will not only provide electricity to the country with an average annual electricity output of 59 million kWh, but also ensure flood regulation in the rainy season, create jobs, increase budget revenue, creating conditions to stabilize life, contribute to poverty alleviation, build new rural areas for mountainous areas of Muong Cha district, Dien Bien province.
