PHUC LONG HYDROPOWER PLANT PROJECT

On December 19, 2017, People's Committee of Lao Cai Province granted investment certificate to build Phuc Long Hydroelectric Plant Project for Phuc Long Hydroelectric Joint Stock Company.

Phuc Long Hydroelectric Plant is a model of river-bed hydroelectricity, built on Chay River, the plant consists of two units, with a capacity of 22 MW, annual power of 87.81 million kwh, total investment value. until the completion of 708 billion.

The plant is located in two communes of Long Phuc and Xuan Thuong, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province, after this is the largest hydroelectric plant in the district.

It is expected that in the first quarter of 2020, when joining the national power grid, in addition to contributing to the economic development of the province and the State revenue, Phuc Long hydroelectric plant is expected to bring employment opportunities. , improve the income for people in two communes and contribute to regulating Chay river, which is unusual in the rainy season.
